Mookaite Jasper Heart
Mookaite Jasper, also known as Windalia radiolarite, derives its name from its Australian origins. The term "Mookaite" stems from the Aboriginal language, meaning "Running Waters," in reference to its discovery site: Mooka Creek.
Described as a variety of silicified porcelain, this unique stone is plentiful in the Carnarvon Basin of Western Australia. Comprised of opalite and chalcedony, it originates from sedimentary rock fossils found beneath riverbeds, where silica has mixed with white clay to petrify.
Mookaite Jasper stands out with its remarkable color spectrum, ranging from vibrant yellows to deep reds, alongside hues of violet and dark brown.
