Very nice combination pieces from the Shangulowe Mine in the DRC that features well-formed Barite crystals in association with Malachite and Chrysocolla. Translucent greenish, elongated, prismatic Barite crystals dominate the specimens. These specimens came out in the late 1990s and are relatively uncommon nowadays. Each species complements the other and the association of Barite with Malachite and Chrysocolla is unusual for copper deposits in general.
