Description
Blue Azurite Geode Pair
The South Ural Region in Russia is well known for producing azurite nodules, and this particular specimen is a great example. Each geode half has been partially polished on the outer portion of the faces while the inner chambers were left natural. Hundreds of tiny lustrous azurite crystals make up the inner part of the geode and project a beautiful shimmering quality. The contrast of the polished azurite with the natural crystals really makes this specimen stand out.
